The BDO main branch is at the corner of Gil Puyat Avenue (formerly Buendia) and Paseo de Roxas in Makati. Ang corner na ito ay nasa unang crossing na merong traffic lights kung galing ka ng MRT Buendia.

Upon receiving your BDO Kabayan passbook and ATM card from a BDO partner abroad, your account is already active. You can already start sending money to your account.
Yong ATM card mo lang ang hindi pa active habang nasa abroad ka. You can activate your ATM card only at a BDO ATM machine in the Philippines. But before you activate your card, you need to visit the BDO main branch — BDO Paseo-Gil Puyat in Makati — to link your ATM card to your Kabayan account. Pag na-link na ang ATM card mo sa Kabayan account mo, you can input your PIN at any BDO ATM machine. Pag na-input na ang PIN, validated na rin ang ATM card mo. You try to do Balance Inquiry. Kapag ayaw pa, okay lang; after 24 hours, your ATM card should be working properly.

Hi Jacquelyn: Year 2013 pa ang post na ito. Sa last na update ko, puede na ang updating sa any branch of BDO, so try mo sa branch nearest your house. Try mo sa Starmall Alabang, or BDO Molito along Madrigal Ave near Puregold Molito, near ATC.
Meron ding BDO sa South Station, yong malapit sa papunta na sa Wilcon. Meron ding BDO sa Insular Life Building across Festival Mall.

Hi Jefferson, kung na-dormant ang account mo (ibig sabihin ay walang deposit o withdrawal pero merong balance na 2k pesos or more), puedeng i-reactivate, pero dapat pumunta ka in person sa branch mo with your IDs. Kung na-close na ang account mo kasi wala itong deposit from abroad within 26 months (2 years and 2 months) at wala itong laman, hindi na ito puedeng i-reactivate, mag-open ka na lang ng new account mo when you are here.
