International Banks in the Philippines

This list here of International Banks in the Philippines refers to foreign banks that are branches or subsidiaries of globally known banks and banking groups. Their parent companies do banking in many countries around the world, including here in the Philippines.

This list is not about offshore banks in the Philippines. Offshore banks cater serve only foreign entities or persons who are not residents of the Philippines.

Many of the international banks in the Philippines like JP Morgan, Bank of America, ANZ and Standard Chartered serve only corporate or institutional clients.

The other international banks, like HSBC and Maybank offer both corporate and consumer banking. ING Bank offers digital banking to consumers. Citibank is still running its consumer/retail banking operations, but it has announced its plan early in 2021 to cease its consumer/retail banking business and focus on corporate and institutional banking. Other Citibank branches in Asia will do the same.
