You can now send money to the Philippines directly into your family’s bank accounts through MoneyGram.
What are the benefits of this direct deposit?
– Your recipient does not need to go the bank and pick up the remittance.
– The money is safe in the bank.
– Your family can withdraw via ATM only the amount of money needed.
– The money can be withdrawn at the nearest ATM. (Withdrawal fees for other banks’ ATMs)
– Bigger amounts can be withdrawn over the counter.
– You will have a record of your remittances, if the bank account is a passbook or passbook/ATM account.
– Your recipient does not have to be at home or office waiting for cash delivery, in the case of door-to-door remittances.
For first time remittances:
1. Fill out the Send form.
2. Check the Receive option Account Deposit.
3. Write your recipient’s bank account name, name of bank and account number.
4. MoneyGram gives you a Receiver Registration Number (RRN). Keep this number for future remittances.
For second and subsequent remittances:
1. Fill out the Send Form.
2. Check the Receive option Account Deposit.
3. Write the Receiver Registration Number (RRN).
