Dear BDO STAFF
I Can not contact with the existing telephone numbers. Kindly send a message stating the current phone numbers to contact as well as current account to send. Bank of Ireland account can not be used.
Thank you.
Hi Gemma, I’m not a BDO employee, but I write about BDO. To call toll-free from landline there, call BDO using 00-800-8-631-8000. If you cannot connect, use this 00-632-8631-8000 (you might pay international calling fees). If your receiver does not have a BDO account, send for cash pickup, there is no account number to use. Just write the name of the receiver and get the reference number.
If your receiver has a BDO account, the Swift code of BDO is BNORPHMM. It is used for any branch in the Philippines. If they ask for 3 more letters, you write BNORPHMMXXX. Address for BDO: BDO UNIBANK, INC., 7899 MAKATI AVENUE, MAKATI, Philippines.
Dear BDO staff
I have been trying to call the number for Belfast branch for four hours yesterday then today. I was on caller four then when it comes to caller number one it just puts it on hold or I can’t hear anything. I already sent the money to the bank just needing your assistance to send it to my bank in the Philippines. I have tried all your numbers but that’s the only one that is working! How will my money be sent home? Thanks
Hi Jan, sorry I’m not a BDO employee. I just write about BDO. I checked the BDO Remit UK website and there’s this announcement:
Belfast won’t be able to provide remittance services until further notice due to a system maintenance activity.

Hello, I’m a UK residence and I would like to open a BDO account… pwede po ba?
Hi Mylin, yes, you can open your BDO Kabayan account online here. Prepare your UK passport, another valid ID (driver’s license or company ID) and your Philippine address. Steps: Fill out online forms. Upload a photo of your 2 valid IDs, signature, and yourself holding a valid ID. Meet a BDO representative via Zoom video call. Make your initial deposit online or at the branch thru your representative. Initial deposit at least 100 pesos. Maintaining requirement: Send money from abroad to your account at least once in 2 years. Maybe you can update us later on about your online account opening?
Hi,ask ko Lang po kung pwede ko makapagcash out sa BDO acct ko jan sa London?Philippine peso convert to £?
Hi Joan, magwidro ka sa ATM machine sa London na merong Visa or Mastercard logo. Enter amount in pounds. Bahala na ang BDO na mag-convert from peso to pounds. Merong withdrawal fee. Not sure if $3.50 per withdrawal pa rin.
Hello bdo, today I had a terrible experience to remember at bdo remittance at the Strand in London. I remembered being advised the last time to bring 3 bank statements in order to be able to send £3,000 or more which I did. I was allowed only £1,200 to send in cash this afternoon because in my bank statements there was a £10,000 deposit and I need to prove where that money came from. If there was any fraud it would have been my bank to question it but for bdo to itemised my bank statements is ridiculous. I have not only wasted my time travelling to get there but also have to deal with poor service.
Hi Adeline, sorry this is not BDO’s website, but you can email your concern here: callcenter@bdo.com.ph, with your subject as BDO Remittance London. There’s an online way to send to a BDO peso account. It’s through WISE. I’m an affiliate. It’s exchange rate is higher than most, and you can see the peso amount that will be credited to your receiving account before you click Send. It’s registered with UK regulators, and it’s popular worldwide, including the Philippines. You can explore and know more about WISE here.
