Ang BDO ay hindi nagre-reactivate ng closed account, so if you still want to bank with BDO, you can open a new account. Wala kang babayarang penalties when you open a new account.

Good day rin sa iyo

    1. Hi Francisco: Sorry for the delayed response. Deposit more than 1k para wala nang penalty sa month of May.

  13. Withdraw in Malaysia?: Yes, you can withdraw from your BDO account in Malaysia kung ang atm card mo ay merong Mastercard logo at kung na-change mo ang PIN mo at a BDO machine when you were here in the Philippines. Find a machine with Mastercard, Cirrus or Maestro logo. 3.50 USD ang charge per atm withdrawal. 1 USD per balance inquiry.

    1. Hi Lhynemar, you try Al Rajhi Banking.

  21. Hi po, is there any BDO that we can open account? pls reply

  22. Nababawasan ang balance: Sorry for the late response. I hope you have already solved your problem. For regular BDO passbook account, 10k ang maintaining balance. Kung Kabayan, zero maintaining balance basta meron kang foreign remittance at least once every 12 months.

    1. Inactive account, owner is in Malaysia: Dapat active kasi na-maintain mo naman ang account mo. Baka hindi mo siya nawidrohan o nadepositohan within 2 years, kaya na-dormant siya. Pag dormant, na-hold lang siya. Andon pa rin ang pera mo. Ang kelangan lang is to go to your branch with your IDs and reactivate your account.

  23. Open a BDO account while in Malaysia: Punta ka sa remittance partner at tanungin mo kung nag-a-assist sila in opening a Kabayan account. Maybe after a month, you will return to claim your passbook and atm card.

Ask your sender to call or visit his/her bank and request to have the remittance returned to his/her account.
